Morning. Our chalet overlooks trees and the lake. Very quiet here this morning apart from the birdsong. Heard an owl in the night first one I’ve heard in years. Keith threatened to fish the lake first light but it never happened!! I think it’s warmer outside than it is in the chalet!!!

Hi. After a heavy night of bar crawling in Lessay and chips from the local kebab shop(nothing opens after 9 at night) we finally got going. Weather is perfect for travel, cloudy but dry. The roads in France are empty and being a Sunday even less so. Long straight roads and good music for company made 250 miles go quickly. We wimped out again and decided to rent a mobile home in Brussac. Perfect spot overlooking a lake and very quiet. What we call “nearly campin...
