Hi Everyone! Still in Pisco until this afternoon when we get our bus to Nazca. Went to the Ballestas Islands yesterday. It was pretty special. We took a boat out to the islands and on the way we saw dolphins! The islands were amazing, inhabited by thousands and thousands of birds including one-eyed cormorants (have 2 eyes, but they are called that because of the guano they produce - droppings), pelicans, peruvian boobies and four penguins. We also saw sealions, the babies (4-7 months old) are now learning to swim, so cute! Tried out the local Pisco drink, Pisco Sour (would have been rude not to) in happy hour, very nice!
