Good Morning from Ottawa, the capital of Canada.
We are in another B &B which is lovely, haven't had the breakfast yet so that will be the big test!!! Yesterday we drove from Kingston along the picturesque Thousand Islands-now in the St Lawrence River system- and took a short cruise amongst them definitely millionaires row and a show of speed boats, suntan and blonde hair is obviously very important… I miss out on all counts… We went through a township called Ganoque and accidently came across a re-enactment of wars in 1812 for the battle of independence. I missed getting a photo of the parade of Indians but they had set up tents of the British of how things were in those days. The medical tent was most interesting - see a photo. I then suggested to Bill a detour which I think was a little out of the way but we did it and went through a little place called Merrickville very similar to Monteville on the Sunshine Coast - not as big but very quaint filled with artists etc. Busy drive into Ottawa but Tom Tom and Bill did a great job. Lovely Italian meal at a little restaurant around the corner.
Also forgot to mention I saw my first chipmunk when we were in Buffalo. Apparently a bit of a nuisance dig up the gardens. They are quite tiny but cute… Also lots of squirrels who dart here and there. Just saw results of footy -go the Crows.
Bill quite keen on the Wife sale at the re-enactment...
