Hello..... Been away for a little holiday after Bonito. We caught the boat to Ilha do Mel which is a little island just off the coast. A very cool place, we stayed in a little place on the beach owned by a transvestite called Florance. There seems to be a lot of transvestite here. Had four days of walking along white sand beaches, swimming in the see and eating rice and beans and fish... not doing very much at all really. Left the island and caught a nigthm...

Hello! Well, we managed to avoid a 25 hour bus journey... I got off the bus after a mere 17 hours and got chatting to some guy who told us we could go into the Pantanal from where the bus was stopped. Hurrah. So we got off, got on another bus and a mere 5 hours later we were in middle of the pantanal. We stayed in a groovy place with little huts on stilts. Hi everyone.... got to Foz to Iquazu, which is boiling, about 40 degress at midday. Went and saw the argentinian falls, and went on a groovy rafting trip up the river and into the falls. Went to see the Itaipu dam yesterday and then over to the Brazilian side of the falls which were pretty spectacular. Especially as they have had lots of rain recently. Had a wee problem today as we wanted to go onto the jungle, but found out the bus trip was 25 hours, then a chan...
