Hello..... Been away for a little holiday after Bonito. We caught the boat to Ilha do Mel which is a little island just off the coast. A very cool place, we stayed in a little place on the beach owned by a transvestite called Florance. There seems to be a lot of transvestite here. Had four days of walking along white sand beaches, swimming in the see and eating rice and beans and fish... not doing very much at all really. Left the island and caught a nigthmare bus to São Paulo. Nobody told us that São Paulo was playing Liverpool and the city was a little bit overexcited. We thought we would arrive in time for tea, and instead we sat in traffic jams outside the city until 1.30am. It doesn't help that the whole of Brasil is christmas mad and are all moving around the country for holidays. São Paulo is quite nice but you have to be a bit carefull. Ended up leaving a restaurant last night when it went all dark and lots of the customers started kissing each other passionately. Me and Elle didn't feel that comfortable about it. Off to Rio for christmas tomorrow which should be excellant. See you there Vikki and Tim! love m.
