Keeping track of murray
In Bolivia again.. can't leave the place alone. From Arica after lots of days celebrating Elle's birthday we left for Bolivia, which was a bit of a trial, involving a bus to Iquique in chile then a lot of waiting and eating and then an 18 hour bus to Oruro. Should have only been about 8 but we had to wait at the chilean border for 9 hours and then it took an hour and half to get through. I don't think the chileans wanted to see us go. Oruro was a bit of a stressfull town, mainly cos we couldn't find anywhere to eat.. breakfast was busicuits crisps and more buiscuits. Finally we made it to the station and booked a train to Tupiza and found a pizza restaurant before the train left. Phew. A quick 11 hours on the train only ruined by a very drunkered Bolivian who insisted on keeping us awake until he finally got off at 1am.. so quick sleeps until we got to Tupiza at 4am for some more quality sleeping. Then we went off on a triathalon, lots of cycling, jeep trips and horseriding, which Elle didn't like and we had a wee bit of shreiking. To be fair her horse was a bit on the naughty side. Back to Tupiza and we are now off to Tarija for some wine tasting and we've got a plan as well to see us through to christmas. Hopefully we'll follow this one!
