Sade, Jessie, Jonny and rob and I left the hostel at 6am and met Sarah along the way and then went to check in for the slow boat travel.

We arrived in time and got a small mini bus to Chang mai where we then changed onto another one which takes us to Chang rai where we will get the boat form.

This mini bus was horrendous! Every seat was taken and there were 10 backpacks and 3 suitcases to fit in! We were cramped in like sardines. When the man first packed the coach he left Jessie and sadies bags outside and started driving saying they won’t fit. Eventually he stopped and we squeezed them in!

We stopped for lunch half way where I had chicken fried rice which was nice.

We Stayed in a hostel on the border of Laos that night which was quite nice. They even served us diner when we arrived!

After dinner we went to find the shops but had no luck with the atms! When we came back we planned to have a movie night but that failed and we all went to bed!
