What a day!! I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves!! Mormon pioneers saw the sculpted rocks as " natural temples of God", therefore calling it little Zion!, after their celestial city. The canyon, the 3000 ft cliffs, the stream cutting through, the red & white Navajo sandstone all viewed from the bottom, looking up! Incredibly stunning from every direction!! We hiked to the emerald pools, each one more picturesque then the other. The only negative was the 107 degree temps, quite warm, though no humidity!! Beautiful park, amazing scenery, awesome day!!
