NEWSFLASH!

In case some of you aren't my friend on Facebook, or don't have Facebook James and I have now completed our most important task in Melbourne and we're ready to come home!

Yesterday we went on the Neighbours Tour - oh yes! We visited Pin Oak Court AKA Ramsey Street (it's tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny), we saw Grease Monkeys, Carpenters Mechanics, the Leaving Bus Stop, Erinsborough High and.....highlight of the day/trip....met Susan Kennedy/Kinski/Smith!!! (James has just read what I've written and is looking at me with despair). We had our photo taken with Susan, chatted to her about our upcoming trip to New Zealand and got her autograph. Brilliant!

We also learnt exciting facts like the British market keeps Neighbours running. At its height 10 years ago 18 million people were watching Neighbours in the UK & Ireland (even I agree that's a silly amount) - more than the number of people IN Australia at the time! We also got to watch some old school Neighbours episodes - saw Scott and Charlene's wedding and Cheryl's death (in which you don't actually see the car that runs her over!)

On 19th we are going to Neighbours night to schmooze with the stars and James wants to meet Steph. I want to meet more of the Kennedy family because they're ace!

I realise I completely skipped out the fact we've been to Sydney for 5 days before arriving in Melbourne and we've been in Melbourne for nearly a week, but thought I should update you all with the important stuff first!
