Right, so I've just realised it's ages since we last updated the blog. We've been to Chiang Mai, back to Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, back to Bangkok again an are now on Koh Tao enjoying the sun. Well, it all got a little higgledy piggledy after our arrival in Vientiane. After I (Zoe) had an awful journey on the overnight bus, culminating in feeling sick, not being able to get into the toilet on the bus, and then nearly getting locked in the toilet on the bus, it was decided that rushing to get onto a 20hour bus immediately after may not be the greatest idea. Well, we were all set to go off to Cambodia today, but have hit our first real stumbling block of the trip. We got up at 6:30am and left the hotel an hour later to start our epic trip to the border. It was going to be easy (until we got over the border): taxi to Mo Chit bus station, then an air conditioned bus to Aranthaya (made up spelling), and a tuk tuk to the border crossing. Well, today the english weather has caught up with us and it's raining. We've taken refuge in an internet cafe, but I only have 9 minutes left of my money, so this won't be too long an entry. We arrived safe and sound at Bangkok airport and eventually (with some help from very friendly Thais) found our hotel by about 7:30pm.
