We are reaching the end of our stint in New Zealand now, and tomorrow fly to Santiago to begin the South America leg of our trip. It's all slightly unplanned at the minute, other than knowing we fly into Santiago tomorrow, then want to go straight to Mendoza to learn some Spanish and that we have to be in Cusco for the Machu Picchu Trek around 22nd July. Since our last update we have bid goodbye to Melbourne and Australia and are now in New Zealand. We flew into Christchurch, which is pretty, cold and quiet. We are getting around New Zealand on the Kiwi Experience Bus, which means a lot less organising is required on our part, but it has taken us a while to get used to being told where we are going as opposed to deciding ourselves. Right. Now that I have some spare time I'm going to attempt a brief update of our travels since leaving Newcastle. From Newcastle we headed to Sydney and on arrival were greeted with streets of people wrapped up in coats and scarves and hats.
