Zoe and Ed's Travels
G'day! We are now thoroughbred Austrighlians! We are in Melbourne and are heading off on a Neighbours tour and to the Aussie Rules this weekend.
We have just completed a ten day stint in our hired campervan, travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne. Since our last postcard we have visited the Grampians National Park, which is a tremendously scenic area in the west of Victoria. We did some walking up there and enjoyed the fantastic scenery. We have driven along the Great Ocean Road, and stopped off to see the various rock stacks in the sea along the way. In the last couple of days we have visited Wilson's Promontory National Park, where there is more great scenery plus a lot of wild wallabies and wombats to see. Yesterday we visited a wildlife sanctuary where we were able to see the full range of cute Australian fauna.
Our time in Australia has flown by. We can't believe that we're leaving on Sunday. Still, we're really looking forward to New Zealand. We really enjoyed the campervan here, although it could be a bit cold at night. We might have to hire a heater in NZ.
