Greetings from KL. We've spent just a coupl of days here. There aren't loads of things to see, but we are enjoying a city with more character than Singapore. We went up the KL Tower (the world's 4th highest telecommunications tower, apparently!), from where you get a great view of the city. We also went over to get a closer look at the Petronas towers. Had some great food at a night market: started with some tasty satays and moved on to some lovely spicy fish plus a veg assortment. All very cheap as well. Managed to catch the League Cup Final in the hostel. We are currently weaning ourselves off the Starbucks coffee (we did have to have one on our first day here but have resisted today!). Have booked a flight for tomorrow to take us up to Kota Bharu, from where we will go to the Perhentian Islands, which are apparently idyllic, and were recommended to us by a couple we met on Bali.
