We had a lovely time in Ubud. We went to a dance show one evening: there was a large group of male singers sitting in a large circle chanting, and a number of figures in costume who would appear in the circle to act out the story. Welcome to a new chapter in our travels! We've left the Indian subcontinent behind and have arrived in Bali for a couple of weeks of relaxing mixed in with some of the cultural highlights of the island, before we head for Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. We arrived this lunchtime having flown overnight, and so are feeling a little tired, and so decided to find somewhere near the airport to stay tonight.
