I'm ill and alone for Christmas.... and thats a good thing as you travel halfway around the world to escape them and they come out and meet you! ha ha, your plan backfired! Let me know what the beers are like over there. Say hi to the oldies for me. Tell Dad that speaking slower and louder still doesn't make people who don't speak English understand him!
Keep on enjoying yourselves

Hope you have a fabulous day with lots of yummy birthday cake.
Mummy Crowsley
To Mummy and Daddy Harding - hope the journey went well, and that you have arrived safe and sound. Thinking of you, and wishing you well. (Keep away from prawns and spring rolls!) Have fun, and give those girls a BIG hug for me on Wednesday.
Secret Santa
Well, the pressies are loaded on Kay and Simon's sleigh. We are really envious of their upcoming adventures. I bet you are really looking forward to seeing them. Feel free to discard them around Asia if you don't fancy eating/carrying them. 5C are really keen to contribute to the work of Cambodian Landmine Museum (one little boy brought in £10 today!) So your real present will be a donation to their good work. Loving your news - especially hearing about Sarah from Zoe and vice versa. Pre-Christmas mania is rife in school. Heeeelp!! Take care in Phnom Penh (sp?) Love, Mum xxx

Hi Girls,
Cambodia sounds brillllll. Can't wait to get there, the only thing is .... do you think the Cambodian airline infrastructure is of a similar quality to their water/rail networks? I am also worried about the risk of whitey skin slaps, I imagine you two are relatively safe by now because you should have acquired a tan.
I too am also hoping little Ruby can teach me some Khmer, I wonder if she knows the words for more beer and can she negotiate discounts?
See you soon.
Love Mumsy

The Old Foggies(Gran And Grandad)
Hi Sarah and Zoe,
Just read your latest posting - very readable as always.
Do you intend to write a book when you get back to raise funds to help pay for the trip? If so , how about "Pakabakabout in Asia" or maybe "Zoe and Sarah grow large in Asia !
Anyway thanks for the explanation of the disapearingmessage we posted - all is forgiven.
A note for Sarah: Mum and Jon are spending Christmas day with us in Dorchester (just a 1 day flyer), Uncle Pineapple Pete and Uncle Roving Richard will be with us as well.
Take care, and all our love to you both.
The Old Foggies(Gran And Grandad)
Hey Sarah, (and Zoe)
I go to the trouble of posting you guys a mesaage on your board and hey presto you completely wipe it out!
Well it disapeared somehow - did I offend you by having a dig about your obsession with woofing back anything edible or in some cases not terribly well cooked or digestsble?
Well as I said in the vanising earlier message you two don't "loos" any opprtunity to test your bullet proof digestive system.
Gran is keen that you don't stray off the beaten track. That is both metaphorically and physically (landmines).
Like everytone we admire your tenacity and ability to exploit your travels to the full. We avidly read your journals - so descriptive - and we keep our fingers crossed that you will continue to do it good.
Love and best wishes to you both . Gran and Grandad G.

Well done, Zoe!! Reading won't know what's hit it next year! But what will Sarah do? - Liverpool is a long way away. Oh, I know - you can come home often and meet up. I'm quite scared of meeting Amber at the CTC Awards Evening - she sounds very muscly now. Perhaps she will collect all your silverware for you (oh, I forgot, CTC awards are perspex, aren't they?)
Anyway, I'm glad you are both fighting fit again, and taking on the world. Lots of love, M xxx
