Great reading about all your adventures! Looks like you are having a good time.
You are braver than us though, there is no way we'd eat that stuff in that picture!
Keep up the journal and photos and keep it safe on those chavvy mopeds (don't forget to rev them whenever you stop - to intimidate the local boy racers).
Enjoy yourselves,
Oli & Lou

Hi gang, pleased to see you having a good time.
Loved the pic's especially the "bits" on a plate...I'm still trying to work out each of them and what part of anatomy you've been tucking into :-)
Sarah..aww stop using your height advantage, how could you not pick that little girl up!

Hey Sarah
Great reading about the trip so far and looking at the photos. We have had plenty of snow in Scotland and people were out on skis last weekend. Been doin plenty of mountain biking last week down at Glen Tres - the place to go in Scotland! did some of the trails at night with lights on, great fun. Hope all goes well for you both as you continue the journey. Take care

Stuffed Mum
Cool photos! I'm not too sure about what looks like offal and intestines, but the elephants look fun, and the kiddies are sweet (love the photo of Sarah looking really scared of one). Glad that you are not running short of things to do and see (and eat). Talking of eating, we're just back from the Harvester (probably would prefer Thai!) Keep trekking! Lots of love xxx

That is one brave cockroach.
Reassured Mum
I've just read Adam's message to Zoe, and am glad to know that Sarah isn't the only scruffbag hiking around SE Asia! You're both doing really well coping with the food - it sounds foul. I'm glad you enjoyed the jungle trip, and met some nice people. The Wall is still functioning without you, Sarah, and your message is visible from the reception, so all sorts of random climbers will be reading this, I guess. Bronwyn at work keeps sighing deeply when I tell her what you guys are up to, obviously wishing she was back in Chiang Mai (which she really liked). Enjoy making friends with elephants, and post us some photos soon! Love, mum xxx
ME
ah ha ha unlucky Zoe, mums been in your bedroom and has taken most of the contents up the tip! (and she wonders why i didn't go traveling! I'm too wise to fall for her tricks.)
You've been making a mess of the spare room too. The Mother isn't happy about that.
Hope your both having a brilliant time, it sounds like you are. Your not missing out on much back here. Cheers Scheißes xx

Guess Which Mum
Is there anything yet to experience in Thailand? You seem to have hit the ground running.
You left the U.K at the right time, the weather here has been miserable and wet. Is it raining in Thailand? Cant wait for some photos.

I don't believe for one minute these digestive problems are anti malaria, THAT OLD CHESTNUT! We all know its because you are fat and have been eating to many Pai pies.
Have been rowing all day in Worcester which was insanely cold and involved me getting up at 5.45am! The guys 4 boat put their white bits in the water way too far...which catapulted them all into the freezing river including the cox (who couldnt swim) Very entertaining to watch as we cruised on past looking pro (I wish.)
Make sure you have safe hands with the machetes. I wouldn't want to be doing any loss of digitorium physio on you any time soon.

Jealous Mum
Sounds like the adventures are really getting going! Snakes, dogs and soldiers all in one email - wow!! Hope you're over the tummy wobbles - perhaps you'd better avoid food for a few minutes/hours/days... You'll be on your way to find the hill tribes now, so I expect that will be really interesting. We had our post-Kerala meeting on Thursday, and everyone was pining for the warmth, colour and noise of India. At least I can read your emails and imagine that I am in Thailand. Everyone sends their love, and we're looking forward to hearing from you next week. Take care!
