Hey England. Sorry to hear about the storms. Sorry to hear Jade Goody is still an idiot. We're up in the northern mountains in a villiage called Sa Pa now, its mighty chilly! We've both invested in wooly hats and have spent the previous 2 evenings drinking hot chocolate and huddling around open fires with other travellers. Theres a pub run by an english couple here, so we felt we ought to have a roast dinner and baked apple pudding. Yesterday we went for a trek and visited some ethnic minority villages in the hills. They dont have paved paths because they are all ethnic, but they all take the same routes through the forest so its incredibly muddy and fun on the steep slopes. There has been a mist over Sa Pa and the surrounding mountains since we got here, so its a real shame we cant see much scenery. The postcards of here people are trying to sell us of look nice. We really like Sa Pa, and would both like to come back in a better season. We like the way the people from the hill tribes mingle around SaPa, never thought we'd be sat in an internet cafe next to one of them. Unfortunately we cant stay, we're off to China this afternoon. Going to rock up in Kunming and see what happens from there. We'll keep you posted,
