hello

we have started our ten day trip!

yesterday we arrived at the start hotel (which compared to where else we have ben staying is luxury) yesterday to meet everyone. when we got there we dumped our stuff and went exploring the markets around this area of bangkok. then in the evening we went for a meal with the others which was really good but very spicy and then we went to a bar.

today we have officially started the trip and have visited the grand palace and a temple containing the reclining buddah which is massive (see pictures) and went on the canal boat and then we are back at the hotel waiting to go on the sleeper train as part of our journey to ko samui so i thought i would update you guys.
