Today we set out early afternoon for the Botanical gardens and Penang Hill.after a quick walk round the botanical gardens we decided to go for the 'adventure' route up Penang Hill..we had been told it was a 2hr hike but weren't really all that prepared.after alot of aching and sweating and seeing mahusive ants!!we finally made it to the top where the view was amazing..could see pretty much whole island and out to the mainland aswell.was well worth all the sweat a...

Today we went for brunch in a nice cafe with all homemade food.and wondered around the streets looking in a couple of temples and just looking at all the cool buildings.in the afternoon we walked across to the posher end of town where we looked in a museum/art gallery.and went into the entrance of one of the poshest hotels on the island.was quite impressive but definently waaay out of our price range.we then wondered back to our hotel and wondered around a near b...

Today we spent most of the day travelling by boat to our next destination Penang.we arrived late afternoon and went for dinner at a nice but bit pricey chinese restaurant.we spent the rest of the evening exploring the streets around our hotel and found a 2nd hand bookshop where we found some cheap good books!

Today the sun was actually out!!so we spent the entire day sunbathing and chilling out on the beach..sadly I (Jenny) got sunburn despite being plastered in suncream,very annoying!
