Today we got up early and went into the city of Darwin.We were dropped off at the golf course where we had a game of mini golf,was a close one but I (jenny) managed to beat kieran by 1 point!hehe.We then wondered along to the museum/art gallery.We saw alot of aboriginal art there aswell as stuff about the cyclone that destroyed alot of the city in the 70s.We also saw the stuffed body of a crocodile named 'Sweetheart' who used to tip up boats and attack the motors...

Today we had a lazy day playing games in the morning and wondering up to the shopping centre near Matt's house in the afternoon,and just generally exploring the area-Palmerston

Today Kieran's Uncle-Matt arrived back in Australia,it was also his sisters birthday so at his parents house some of their family was round and we had a big lunch.In the evening we went to Matt's house and settled in.

Today after a huge lie in to recharge our batteries we walked down to the local shopping centre where we stocked up on a few things including Lindt chocolate!!We then went back to the house and had another swim in the pool-was lovely!Helen&Gerry thought we were crazy to swim this time of year though as for them this weather is mild as is their winter!

Today we arrived in Darwin very early in the morning (4:30AM.)We spent our first few hours sleeping in the airport.At a reasonable hour Kieran's uncle's parents picked us up from the airport and took us to their house where we are staying two nights.Both of us were pretty tired so didnt feel like doing too much.In the end we went down the road to the Darwin show-which was on because it was a public holiday.Was basically a fair with various stalls and rides and th...
