Wow what a day! Firstly we went at checked out the Olympic Stadium area, eg the Birdcage etc very impressive. Then onto the Jade Factory which was fascinating, I didn't realize the variety of Jade types, I had always thought Jade was just green. From there we moved on to the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall. This was just amazing, the experience of being there & actually climbing a very small section of it, very steep & uneven steps! The views were incredible, obviously the higher we went. Our guide Jackie is a funny fellow quite eccentric & very intent on looking after us all diligently! There are only 19 people on Tour with a couple of no shows(hence our delay at Airport on our 1st night!) In the a/noon we went to a traditional herbal medicine medical clinic, very interesting, we all received a complimentary foot massage! Yesterday was finished off with a walk around Wangfujing St a famous traditional shopping precinct, wow. Off to Wuxi today.
