Hello everyone,

thanks for all the emails that you sent me. They really cheered me up. But the best thing about today was that I got a new passport and I was able to book the flight to Chiang Mai for tomorrow!!!!! So my holiday can now start as planned.

After a few days of misery (and I can tell you I was bloody miserable), I am now back smiling and ready to explore again. Admittedly, I didn't feel this way on Friday or Saturday but slowly but surely I have been putting things aside and moved on (quite difficult when you don't have the stuff that you used to have anymore, I can tell you).

But I didn't want to let those b******s ruin my trip, a few days were definitely enough. So, Neil and I are leaving for Chiang Mai tomorrow and will be enjoying cheap beer and massages for the next 2 weeks. Have learned my lesson and will back up my photos more regularly so that you can enjoy some too!

PS: My Malaysian phone won't work in Thailand, i.e. as of tomorrow. Will publish my new Thai number once I have bought a new sim card.
