Jill, Mary, Grace, and I woke up bright and early at 6am to see the sunrise. We went to Filopapou Hill right across from the Acropolis. The view was incredible. We were lucky enough to catch the sun peeking out. We hung out there for a while and on our way back. We stopped by this little cafe called to get some coffee and breakfast. I had some plain Greek yogurt and spanakopita. The yogurt is really good. you have to add honey to it. We then made it back to our group meet at 8am. We had Greek lessons from 9am to 12pm and then from 5pm to 8pm. The teacher, Kirsti, is very beautiful and patient with us. There was so much to learn! We tried to cram in all the Greek we can before we head to the village where no one there speaks any English. During our break, Steve, Mary, Grace and I made a little run to the bank, phone store to get SIM cards and calling cards, post office to buy some stamps, and the grocery store! We bought a big watermelon that cost 10 euros!
