Wow! Will I really be boarding a plane to South Africa in less than twelve hours? I'm going to run through just a few thoughts because I'm leaving for the airport soon and am still a little unprepared. You can see the packing mess that I was sitting in a few days ago! Louie kept staring at my bags and then licking my face as if trying to get some answer of what was going on. Also, my bag was far over the weight limit last night and even though I tried to fix it...

Started the hard process of saying goodbye today, but with such a fun cookout! It was wonderful to have so many of the people that I love have dinner together, be interested in what I'm studying, joke around, and really show their excitement for me. I even got a snapshot with the great-grandparents to take along with me. Thank you to everyone that came out and for the great food, cards, well wishes, and even a first aid kit!
