Hello everyone--Welcome to my blog! This is where I will take you along on my journey throughout Southern Africa and where I will share my thoughts, challenges, and thrilling experiences. I'll be spending some time in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe and hopefully you can learn about these incredible places with me as I go.
For now, check out my travel plan. Here you will be able to follow where I am and when. This will most likely change, but I'll update where I am on the map, along with some photos and a few words as often as I can. Please leave me comments or questions.
For my family, I hope this provides a comfort to you and makes this trip a little more exciting and a little less worrisome. I will miss you so much and even if I can't reach a phone or computer to tell you, I love you!
And to the people I will spend this time with, I cannot wait! I know we are going to have the most amazing time discovering new places, sharing frustrations, and just having fun!

re: Fat CakesJennifer Frank My son has a history project due on Namibia in a couple of weeks. he gets extra credit if he brings a food sample from the country he's been assigned. I think this will make an interesting food sample to bring for his class. Thank you! :-)
