Let the Journey begin....

Past few weeks have gone by so quick. Had the opportunity to spend two weeks In Florida Volunteering with the National Disaster response team I am on. We gathered suppplies and got them shipped over to the Bahamas. I was able to spend some time at the beach and even visit with a longtime friend Who now lives in Florida he drove 3 hours to visit. very blessed to have had the opportunity. Once I got back to Pennsylvania I spent time with my family, visited with my grandmother and cousins . It was great to catch up with everyone. I to my first Friday Night Lights high school football game, since I graduated 17 years ago. Instead of dressing in blue and white, I dressed in all purple. They combined high schools here it was still fun cheering on the local home team. Went to goose-day festival, picked up pumpkins and flowers from an Amish farm and even spent hours finding our way through a corn maze in the dark, along with a hayride at the end. Happy I got to spend time with my cousins and my grandmother. Created some good memories.

Tommorow I begin a new journey A new chapter of my life. I am all packed up and ready to tread across the United States. I have a lot of mixed emotions. I am anxious but scared at the same time. I have prepared myself to know that this is going to be challenging and the days will sometimes be grey. But this is what I have chosen to do and I need to embrace whatever comes my way. I pray that God will guide me in the right direction and help me clear my mind and soul.
