For me, I feel as though it is important to learn our history so that we can learn from our mistakes and not repeat it. History also set a precedent for us so that we know how to handle certain situations. By traveling to the Eastern Seaboard and visiting states that were once apart of the thirteen colonies, I will be able to learn more about time, continuity, and change in many ways.
This trip will give me insight on life in the past and what occurred between Colonial Times and today and I will later be able to make inferences on how that has changed and how those traditions have continued on to today.
