Bored after 2 days of chilling I am doing my Advanced Divers certificate. Must have ants in my pants or something!!
The diving here isn't as good as Sipidan in Borneo but it's very cheap and worth doing...I should at least be able to navigate under water and dive to deeper depths on my future trips.
Still meeting lots of people, the latest are Mal and Debbie from Perth who are very funny and love a beer like all Aussies I've ever met :) They are on hols and I think Deb is missing her kids because they seem to want to look after me. I'm not complaining though and Mum, I'm sure you're glad to hear it!
2 more days here then back to Bali to meet Bec & Ollie for a few days on a different beach. Trying not to think about the weather that awaits in Manchester next week...arghh!!
Oh well, I suppose I have been getting my money's worth although tan still hasn't appeared ( and after 33 years of not tanning I don't know why I expected this trip to be any different!)
Thanks for the book tips, I have just finished 'The 100 year old man who climbed out of a window' - well worth a read, and about to start 'Man's search for meaning' - I'll let you know if I become enlightened!
