Friday night was the worst sleep of my life i woke up at 4 am and could not fall asleep so i got up grabbed my box of cheez its and ate. woke bay up she helped me eat! then she went back to bed and i stared at the ceiling for what seemed like hoursss til we got up saturday morning to have an orientation with the group. They taught us a little about the thai culture and some language lessons. THe language is absolultey impossible to learn but it is fun trying. We had aa free day to do whatever we wanted around bangkok after the orientation so i got my hair straightened. at home it cost me 250 $ here it cost me only 60 american dollars. what a steal! the only bad part is i can not wash or pull back my hair for 4 days and it is so hot it is driving me crazy. The orientation guy (lee) said its going to start getting reallly hot and i kind of just looked and him and said are you kidding hotter then it is?!?! i cant even imagine!
we took an over nitebus to MAE SAE it left at 7 and it was awesome the seats where more comfortable then the ones on the plane they try to feed you every other minute even though i didnt eat any of it and i had the best sleep that i have had since i left NY . I slept almost the whole trip woke up got to watch the sunrise ( how cool is this while im watching the sunrise you guys in NY would be watching the sun set at the same time! ) and i stared out the window for the rest of the ride ( 12 hour trip total) this country is so gorgeous. the other girls we are with are boring they are not social and me and bay are not happy about it. we have a freee day today and we are totally bored because besides shopping there is nothing to do in this place so obviously we are way excited for the program to start so we can start working. We cant figure out how to use the phones and unlike bangkok which had a lot of things translated in english nothing here is. no one speaks and english and it is totally hard to comunicate with the people. so we are frustrated at the moment but as the days come we will learn more and it will be easier ....... ok time to go
