Yesterday was our last day of work so to celebrate Ethan and Jenny (our Korean work mates) cooked us dinner which we all ate together on the beach. We spent the evening chatting to them learning lots about Korea and the language. They also taught us how to play poker and we taught them how to play rummy. Was quite a challenge! Still at bungalow bay magnetic island. Been quite busy last few days. Tuesday we did a walk in the national park called the fort walk. Saw some lovely scenery. Day 2 on magnetic island and today we completed our second shift as house keeping staff! 3 and a half hours a day in exchange for our little bungalow accommodation drink and pizza each, every night! Arrived on the beautiful magnetic island yesterday. The hostel is lovely set in lush forest and a wildlife sanctuary.won tickets on raffles to tour the sanctuary and hold koalas today! Gonna ask about working here for accommodation which could be a way of saving some dollars plus a real experience! Watch this space!!
