Arrived on the north island on the 6th june, after a rough ferry journey on a storm morning!! We just managed to keep our full english breakies down!!spent a couple of days in wellington, lovely city. Visited the studio who did the special effects and costumes/props for lord of the rings. Headed up the east coast to Napier an art deco coastal town. We are currently in taupo which is dominated by new Zealand's biggest lake. This morning went to a park with thermal springs. We had our very own private,naturally heated,waterfall (it was real hot!)and it was free!!
