Arrived in New Zealand over the snow capped mount cook. Got to our accommodation in the dark and found nearest eatery...a english feeling old pub complete with an open fire and homely menu!christchurch even looks like the uk!! Friday morning took a walk around the city and couldn't believe the damaged caused by the earthquakes over a year ago! A lot of the city still closed! We have been told numerous times that they have quakes alot, maybe once a week! Scary! picking up campervan sunday, cant wait!
