We have had a very busy few days in San Francisco! We dropped the car off then got a taxi to our hotel which was located china town. We then took a wonder around the streets bumping into some interesting characters... Aka hobos. Then did a little shopping.
The day after we all very much enjoyed a trip to the island of Alcatraz! Was great walking around with head sets on doing an audio tour. Found out some interesting details about the creepy old prison. That evening we enjoyed a lovely meal at the cheese cake factory! Was brilliant to sit and eat 8 storeys high in the sky with an amazing view of union square beneath us.
After staying in china town we then moved hotels to the north, near the golden gate bridge and fisherman's wharf. During our time here we all had great fun cycling across the golden gate bridge and took a walk down the windest street in the world on Lombard street.
We then said Bye to the wright family and made our way to new York city!
