Hello to everyone!
Well im going to continue where Miss King left off! As she said we were separated and Sarah and I felt like we had lost a limb!!!
After she left for sunny England we stayed around in Bangkok for a few days...just long enough to meet a friend from home and go ice scating - a must when in Thailand!
We got on a bus on Khao San Road and 17 hours later arrived on Koh Samui! The next day we moved into our 4* luxury accommodation wahoo! It's fair to say we were pretty surprised with the 4 restaurants, 3 pools and private beach, but we soon got into the swing of it. Mother Hird and Charlotte arrived that evening after a long couple of flights, but relaxed with a cocktail!
The week at the hotel was mainly spent around one of the pools and catching up with all the exciting news from England! We managed to squeeze in a day trip, courtesy of mother Hird (thanks again!), around Koh Samui, which included: Grandfather and Grandmother rock (which you'll see photos of when we get a chance to upload - and you WILL be shocked!), an elephant trek, off-roading, crocodile and monkey show, a mummified monk and a waterfall. A fun-filled day!
Natalie returned to us on the Tuesday night after a lovely week at home and with some great photos of the wedding. The 5 of us enjoyed the last few days of luxury.
After Charlotte and Margaret left, we headed to Koh Phangnan for 3 nights and Koh Tao for 3 nights, which were both fun! Then on to Bangkok to book our bus to Cambodia. The next installment will be in about a month when we're back in Thailand and we'll be able to put some photos on too. Hope everyone's well, lots of love the 3 world wives.
