Soooooo...........................We get into Brisbane and things are sent to try us for the first time (only for a little while tho) .................. we had to carry our bags.....Oh My Gosh they're sooo heavy to carry in the heat!!!! When we had finally have trecked to the hostel we find out that our lovely bank LLoydsTSB is messing up our cards and stuff again sooooo as a results we had to have separate rooms in different buildings. It seemed hard at shower times etc as we were sharing stuff but also a good experience of not having one another around and getting to experience what a single backpacker life feels like………..but as we found out everyone all end's up meeting in the bar anyways lol. Brisbane is a largish city and most backpackers come here and stay for a while as Brisbane has a lot of work to offer but as a city there's not much to see it's mainly offices etc………….this gave us chance to have a bit of a chill out, sightseeing can be tiring…………..(oh dear I hear u all say, as u set out for work lol) We did visit a museum tho and we actually learnt a lot about the aboriginal culture of Australia and about the wildlife(did you know ???? a sex of a turtle is determined on the heat of the sand?) fascinating!…..learning more and more every day!In the nights, the hostel had an Irish bar where we all would go for a drink n chat to loads of new people and play quizzes etc………. we made good friends with the Irish, Scotish & English and we did enjoy Rubbing it in that Wales were doing sooo well in Rugby….GO WALES!!!!! Soooo had a day or two to chill and now we're headed to Noosa………..Catch you all next time……….
