Amalfi

The world is my school. today my classroom is in Amalfi, Italy.

Amalfi was the first capital of Italy before Rome. It is very beautiful and right on the seaside. The water is freezing, but very clear and blue. The water is so clear that you can see 20ft down to the bottom! It is so beautiful. Amalfi was built right into the cliffs, and is right on the beautiful sea. This makes for interesting, even thrilling, driving . Even the most stable stomach will probably vomit driving the Amalfi coast.

Traveling by sea actually makes you less seasick! We rented a boat and went swimming in the green cave off the coast of Posatano. The Atlantic here IS FREEZING but once you get out you are glad you did it! There were a few dark red jellyfish in the water, so I was in and out. My Mom was not so lucky. Ouch!

You need to write about the lemons and eating the rinds, being there with your grandparents
