leanna's getting her move on!!
well i have been away from sunny boro for just over a week and i have seen and exprienced so much. on our first day me n beth took it slow n just went to stanley and look round the local market not far from were we are staying aparently it's winter here and the chinease are wearing duffle coats (im personaly getting my sweat on in bord shorts and a vest top) crazy locals!!! we also tried the local fodder got our noodles and dumplins rite on in a lil cafe well i say cafe i mean man cooking over stove in back ally as we point to what looks edable!! i don't think he'd ever had a health and saftey inspection in his life!! bon appetite!
the next day we flew to shanghai buisness class of course (on uncle john we didn't steal sum1s seat) while in shanghai we tried rather spicey thai food i had crab where u could eat it's shell (hence it's called soft shell crab got my buzz on!!) lots of local fodder although im sure i wasnt that keen on all of it!! hmmmm!! we explored the city took in some impresive skyscraper sights and that was just our hotel the grand hyatt i mite add on the 84 floor in the presidential suit only the best for beth and leanna (on uncle jon again lol) then we checked the market out were i bartered like mad getting new jeans for 7quid channel sunglass for 2pound etc.
after shanghai we headed onto bejiing where we got tour guide/interprtator who taught us a bit of chinease like nea how (hello) and we taught him some english like wehayyy!! up the boro and cheep and cheerfull!! we went to see the great wall off china the, temple of hevan, the forbidden city, the ming tombs, the summer palace etc etc we tried some local food like noodles, rice, dumplings and hotpots (hop pot hot pot thats ya surround sound that is:) there very different to betty's hotpot in the rovers like i can garrentee it!! very spicey indeed!!
also we went to see chinease acrabatics show they were really amazing dressed up like dragons and rolling about (a lil bit more technical than that but you get the jist) then we checked out a local bar the touch bar were we went in and there was only me and beth in there lets just say it was possitivly bouncing but after a couple of drinks we became buds with the staff we couldn't speak chinease and they counldn't speak english well only a lil bit so comunicating was a challenge a mixture of shouting, sign language and drawing on beer mats we ended up teaching them how to dance (apparently they thought we could!) and do the rock sign! they loved us and we ended up locals in everynite! :)
we also did some more bargin hunting got my self sum converse boots for 7 quid too just call me david dickinson (im working on my tan im just turning pink not so much orange at the mo like!) then we headed back to hk were we have been chilling on the beach ever since!! (hard life i know)
