I have survived the first few nights on my own
Things have changed so much. Although still warm during the day the mornings and evenings are much cooler. Not quite the spectacular autumn turn that I was expecting but it still might come. The leaves are falling and the Water level is dropping. I can smell the cold in the air. Another few more weeks and I think we won't know what hit us. The fire will be blasting and the aroma of wood will surround us.
It is sad to think this might be our last trip. Think I'll miss here more than home. But you never know might be able to come back before Christmas. I would like to see the markets at Christmas time.
