After spending the day at the beach yesterday, it was time to get back to the cultural side of travelling and what better way to travel than renting push bikes in the sun. Amalie and Sofia introduced us to a guy on crutches who was nicknamed speedy and as he was the only one with any clue where we were going, we quickly nominated him as tour guide.
It was so scary on the roads at first as the traffic waits for no one and even red lights don't seem to stop Vietnamese drivers from going through. But as we got the hang of it and gained confidence we seemed to do alright, everyone got home in one piece which is a bonus.
All in all we were on the bikes for a good 5 hours driving up and downhill, was actually a good work out to burn off all the previous tiger beers we had drank. Even ended up catching the sun, sunburnt again.
Another night in hue = another crazy night in 'brown eyes'.
