Chore day. after a while travelling you have to stop petting tigers and jumping off cliffs to do chores. The worst day by far. Quick stop off to do laundry, then onto grab breakfast, buy postcards and rent mopeds (yes the day had finally arrived). Power cut was still in full force so fruit shakes were off the menu but other than that the bagel that we had all opted for was delicious. Next time to chose mopeds. When travelling most people book things off other peoples recommendations such as trips and hostels. However as we walked down the streets we couldn't help but notice the cutest pink and blue mopeds. Forgetting all advice given to us we rented them. Can you drive a moped the woman asked, no we all replied, here's the keys then was how it seemed to go. Quick stop to get petrol and one of the funniest moments of travelling so far. The whole time we have been travelling Charlie has been desperate to rent mopeds, cue the very awkward moment when she hadn't listened to anything the woman had said about the mopeds, and then tried to brake whilst accelerating. She then fell over driving around 1mph and then the moped fell on top of her, absolutely hilarious. Luckily a bruised ego and a grazed knee were the only injuries we gained whilst renting the mopeds.

As a spur of the moment decision we decided Pai was the best place to get our bamboo tattoos that we had all wanted so bad! Bamboo tattoos are a traditional way of people getting a tattoo which involved a bamboo stick being sharpened then needles being attached at the end. The needles are then dipped into ink which in turn is then tapped into your body, lovely. So a 6 hour wait saw me and Georgie emerge with brand new inkings, fair to say they did not go down well with our parents, hahaha soz guys!
