6am start, Eugh! Bus to 4000 islands, don det today. 8 hours on a bus is not a cool way to spend the day but a good chance to catch up on the blog!

We did the border run ourselves due to a Cambodian man trying to charge us a few dollars for him to do it, such hard work walking through in the sticky heat whilst wearing our rucksacks!

Finally arrived and it's so green here. Kinda reminds us of the Lake District only a lot hotter! It's so green here and all the islands are separated by the 'lake Mekong'. We have chosen a hut on the sunset side so I guess it does exactly what it says on the tin, looks directly out onto the river as the sun sets. It's so pretty to lie in the hammock and watch the sun go down. Right now we are all chilled and loving being so carefree, no worries at all.

Our hut is very basic, infact only contains a bed and a fan. 3 way spoon tonight it is! Shock no flushing toilets again! Don det is a very chilled island full of hippies, where people chill and smoke weed and just enjoy being there so that's exactly what we did too.
