We woke up to the beautiful view of Ha Long Bay, and a tasty breakfast; which included: toast, eggs, and bacon.
As soon as breakfast ended, we were on a boat heading to the Sung Sot Cave. The cave was like a typical cave that you see anywhere, except this one was quite large.
After the caves, we headed back to the junk boat for brunch and then we headed back to Hanoi.
Once we got to our hotel in Hanoi: Hong Ngoc Hotel, we were informed that the hotel made a mistake and had to send half of the group over to their other hotel (which is a 6 minute walk - 1 minute drive). I was one of the people that had to go over to the other hotel, which I was fine with since its the same hotel that Gadventure uses for the first night in Hanoi. But once I got up to my room, I noticed how dirty the room was and as I opened up the blinds to the window I saw two spiders. So I had to kill the spiders, then there was a fly and another bug.. and later another spider. The room was super dim and when I pulled back the bedding, the sheets appeared as though they haven't been changed in a few days. When I met up with the other people told to stay in the new hotel, they had similar complaints and some asked to move rooms. I tried to move rooms but the front desk staff could barely speak english and I didn't get very far. Ah
But we all went out to Green Mango for a final group dinner. I order rigatoni, which was pretty good - nothing to rave about and everything at the restaurant was pricey (around $20-40 per item).
Said good-bye to a couple of people that were heading out that night/early tomorrow morning. Still hasn't set in that the tour is almost over.
