We had to say goodbye to beautiful Hoi An and make our way to Hue. The trip took us 4 hours via bus but the time went by quickly. It seems like the further north you go into Vietnam the more beautiful the country becomes; especially, when you are on the coast. Today we woke up bright and early in order to avoid the heat while visiting My Son Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples were interesting; however, the main group of temples were the best because they were the least affected by the bombs; therefore, most of the structure still remained intact. Today we checked out of our hotel at 7:30 am, in order to catch a flight from Nha Trang to Hoi An. Once in Hoi An, we went for lunch at Bale Well. Today was a cruise day to some of the surrounding islands of Nha Trang. There were some amazing views of the ocean, mountains, and city all combined when sailing. Once we got to the island we did a little bit of swimming and I tried snorkling for the first time! Was a bit worried about it but wore a life jacket so I was able to float and wouldn't have to worry about drowning.
