Day 31 Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Caught an American Airlines flight departing 1220 to LV. A lot of smog hanging over LA trapped in by the San Bernardino Mountains to the east. Day 30 Farewell to the Sunshine State - Florida. Both Nikita and myself woke up quite zoned out after yesterday's long but satisfying day. Yesterday's Everglades/Miami tour bus finally got back to Econo Lodge in Orlando at 12:20 am and after repacking our baggage cramming in all our goodies from the 6 days in Florida, we crashed into bed around 1:45 am! Day 29 Day tour to Everglades and Miami. 4 weeks down and and 1 week left to go till we return home. Day 28 Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral. A big trip highlight (for Tony) planned for today. The day dawned grey and damp. Took a short walk down the road to collect the bus shuttle and transferred to the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral on the East Coast about an hours drive away.
