I forgot to write this in the last blog because I forgot everything I wanted to write, but heres a little story for you:)
We had just been to the bathroom (located near outside our bungalow) and Winnie stops and says "I hope I don't get bitten again!" (Something bit her foot the other night) and I tell her not to be stupid, "You wont get bitten the same place twice, duh!" So we kept walking on. Just seconds after we both start screaming like maniacs, running down towards our bungalow. Needles to say we got bitten. A lot. A WHOLE lot. Somehow we managed to lock up the door just to see that our feet were black. Black because there were so many things biting us. Let me tell you, that hurt. Some guy working there came running up asking us what was wrong. I think we probably woke everyone up. Haha.
Eitherway, this is his exact words: "Oh no, This is really bad. These are scorpions. Really poisonous."
Right. Winnie and I looked at each other, freaked out like hell, we we're about to start crying like babies when our French loverboy came asking what the fuzz was about " 'ave you seen spidah?"
His friends explained everything and he told us not to worry, they weren't scorpions, just something else.Thank God.
I'm never walking barefoot in the jungel ever again.
Anywho. We left Perhentian Islands to go to Cameron Highlands. We got there by a 6 hour drive. A very bumpy one I might add. At one point, my entire body was up in the air, nowhere close to my seat. We ended up at a place called Father's guesthouse, I would recommend this place to anyone going there. The staff were SO friendly, and it was cheap, clean, nice beds, everything I could have asked for at then some;) We went down to the city got some food, went back up and fall asleep at nine! hahaha. We were so tired from last night. We only had a few hours of sleep. By the way, we met a German guy, Max, he was on his honeymoon with his friends, the poor guy got left at the altar!! Haha, poor guy. Fell so bad for him!
We went on a guided trip to see some tea plantation, a trip to the mossy forrest, butterfly garden and a strawberry farm. Starwberrys are really a big thing here. I mean, there's strawberry everything here.
There were really not much else to do there so we took a bus to Ipoh (the ugliest place on the planet!!) and from there a train to Kuala Lumpur, then a night train to Singapore where we are now.
But the others are complaining and want to go so I better log off. Goodbye for now:)
