We arrived in Cusco and got a taxi to the hotel we had pre booked in Lima, we were both starving so went and got some breakfast and were introduced to the delights of coca tea. Arrived at the bus station at about 1630, we had pre booked a hostel from lonely planet at random, looked across the road and there it was ! WE HAVE NOW ARRIVED IN LIMA - IT'S A REAL CHANGE FROM THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE AND FRENETIC ENERGY OF RIO. WERE STAYING IN A SMALL FAMILY RUN HOSTEL WHICH OVER LOOKS THE PACIFIC OCEAN. THERE IS A MASSIVE SKATE PARK TO ONE SIDE WHERE THEY HOSTED THE NATIONAL SKATE CHAMPIONSHIPS YESTERDAY, ADI YOU WOULD'VE LOVED IT !. We arrived in Lima after three flights from Rio, it was pretty tiring and we eventually arrived at midnight. Thankfully we had arranged for the Hostel owner to collect us form the Airport. Rio has been amazing ! Such a diverse place, lot's to see & do. Not just the obvious things such as the beaches (which are awsome) J.C and sugar loaf, but things like treking through the rainforest which is only 15 mins from Impanema beach, people watching on the promenade.
