Ok so I think a blog I wrote may not have been published so here is a quick recap! Have had some good yes so far had a bug rack of ribs one night a bug $10 dollar stake the next and also had a good takeaway salad in the day from a place called sumo salad who definitely need to get to england! On the 1st we ventured back in to the middle of Sydney and ended up renting a bright orange camper can! The guy who sorted it out for us grew up in wivenhoe a village which I lived in when down in Essex so I think we got a reasonable deal. We also have Aussie mobile phones now which makes looting on up the net a lot easier. I can't believe that all my apps still work like sky sports news and more importantly barclays! Oh and the sun came out to on that day so we got a pick of the harbour without the cloud!
So yesterday had breakfast at a little Market which sold local produce and was very European we ended up trying some kind of Turkish pancake filled with cheese beef mushroom and spinach! After this we took a train and a taxi to pick up the van and drove straight to whew my friend SKin lives!
It's a really nice neighbourhood and after only been there 10 minutes we where having a beer and some food at the neighbours house who were having a birthday party! Also met Kobe a 5 month old Labrador puppy il try and get a picture today! On the night we went out for Chinese which T was very excited about the food was very nice and a lot different to the English style Chinese! I think the lettuce wraps (which is not the traditional name) where our favourites!
Today I have just woken up to the morning chorus of parrots screeching outside, a bit different to a few sparrows and a blackbird! I think its bacon sandwiches here for breakfast so all in all as you can tell we are really roughing it right now! Reality check when it's beans every day in the next few weeks!
