howdy hooo people! i tell you what its hard work trying to keep track on this thing, trying to please you people back home! god give us guys a break!!!! haha

so.......oh yeah, we ended up taking a trip around Universal Studios, Hollywood! this place was spot on, took a tour around some of the studios where filming was on-going for the new Fast and Furious film and Desperate Housewives!!! unfortunately Eva was busy when i went looking for her, if only she knew what she was missing!!! we went on the Jaws set and the War of the Worlds set which Speilberg created for a small $2,000,0000!!! pretty impressive let me tell you. saw some of the Jurassic Park cars and stuff which was cool. after this wee took a ride on some of the rides. the new simpsons rides, Jurassic Park of course, The Mummy, Shrek 4D! all in all a quality day! the last day in Hollywood was done!

we manage to hire a car for 10 days and head off on a small road trip to San Diego! we booked into Banana Bungalows which was a small surf shack of a hostel on the beach! JACKPOT! it had a real buzz about the place and it was $1 burgers and $7 all you can drink that 1st night! so we sat out on the patio/beach partying, watching the sunset over the pacific ocean for the 1st time! that was pretty special. so basically for 3 whole days we spent lied on Pacific Beach catching some rays, getting drunk and surfing! just what the doctor asked for......i think. dan and adam are well again now! think its just hangovers they are carrying now!

we check out Banana Bungalows and head for Huntington Beach! surf city in the heart of the OC! a small de-tour through Laguna Beach and Newport Beach was pretty cool. this part of the world is rather upper class. the houses, the cars and the women! once in Huntington we check into a surf lodge for a couple of nights, a couple of blocks from the main st but jjust across the road from the beach! Huntington is nice, not what i expected though, its a massive surf town but its not as lied back or as nice as San Diego! the surf down here is scary! a little to big for a semi-pro like myself! haha!!!! thats the excuse i give anyway. we have a decent night out on saturday night, the females seem very......friendly round here! u dont need to approach them they just come over and start talking to you! i guess thats the case with all west coaster! everyone is going around at snail pace, no rush at all. i guess the great weather all year round counts for alot of that! so 2 days in Huntington was kinda enough as there isnt much to do apart from sunbathe and surf! so we drive up to Santa Barbara today, managed to catch the sun setting over Malibu bay which was pretty cool. think we will have a little drive out tomorrow somewhere and do something, maybe sunbathe and surf seen as we have not done that for the last week!!!! hard life isnt it!

Oh, dan flys home on Friday, dont think he is looking forward to it however i know he is now seriously skint! think you better dig deeper into them pockets dad!!!
