Lihue!!!!!!!!!!! We were so excited to get to Kauai, but I am definitely glad we stopped in Oahu for a short time. We made it! Diamond Head is a pretty easy hike, less than a mile but straight up at the very end over 100 stairs. What an amazing view of Waikiki and the coastline. It was well worth the quick hike. It still takes about 30 minutes each way and is a popular hike with tourists and locals. Hilarious moment of the hike - opening my Map this Run app and apparently I hadn't shut it down from my last run, so it showed 3,712 miles for my run. Man I'm tired! Scary m...

Normally everyone wakes up at 10-11 on our trips, unless there is some major reason that we need to get up. Not today! The entire family was up by 7am, including Jeff! We finally made it!!! Super long flight on the oldest planes possible, but we made it all in one piece! Seriously though, Delta, any journey over 6 hours should require a TV system that works!!!!!
