Athens was really fun! We were told you could see Athens in a day, and we sure did try our best! We got into the city at around 12:00 and struggled to find our hotel. They listed a train station that was a few kilometers from the hotel on their website. We were pretty beat from the heat and walking when we got to the hotel. We got some free drinks at the penthouse style bar on the top floor of our hotel, and you could literally see the Parthenon right there ...

This is the view from our hotel. We took the insane way, not just the long way to our hotel. Athens is a crazy, busy city with roads that are nearly impossible to read. The kids were all troopers with their bags through the subway and long, hot walk. We dropped of our bags, and are heading out for our adventure of the day.
